Salmon with maple glaze

Kind of a tricky dish this time. You make a maple glaze first, mixing maple syrup, lemon, garlic, soy sauce, salt, pepper and reducing it in a small saucepan. Then you spread it over the salmon, which is laid over scallion greens. It sounds easy – maybe it should have been easy – but I cooked the glaze on too high of heat, so I had to perform emergency surgery and add more lemon and maple syrup. Still, a decent dinner.
I also made mustard mashed potatoes and asparagus, which came out well.
