Nohoval Cove, Ireland
I had had the cove to myself for well over an hour, taking pictures, when I heard a car drawing up at the bottom of the access lane. Several minutes later the canoeist appeared, dragging his boat and two uncooperative bags across the seaweed and rocks towards the sea. It all looked very unwieldy and precarious until he actually got afloat and rowed out into the unusually calm Atlantic Ocean and around the headland.
